Elevate Your High School Experience By Participating in an Educational Exchange
Whether you recently took part in a WACNH Diplomacy Simulation, want to improve your language skills, or are curious about the world beyond New Hampshire, an educational exchange is a great way to broaden your horizons. Through an exchange, you have the opportunity to experience new cultures firsthand, meet people from around the world, and gain a global perspective that is uniquely your own. These programs provide a fantastic opportunity to share your community and story with others.
Many exchanges are fully-funded, making them accessible opportunities to travel, learn, and make friends, while preparing you for life beyond high school. Explore the programs below and imagine where your next adventure could take you!
Youth Exchange Alumni Panel Discussion
Hear from three alumni of the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) and the Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship (BFTF) as they share personal stories about their experiences. The panelists discuss what inspired them to apply, what they learned while travelling and participating, and how the programs helped them build language skills, as well as critical thinking, cross-cultural understanding, and lasting global connections. The conversation concludes with panelists sharing how their exchange continues to shape their lives upon returning home and offering words of advice to future applicants. |
