ABOUT RAGINI SEN:

Dr. Sen has degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Delhi and hails from Mumbai.

Most recently, she was a fellow at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi studying secularism and social capital among the marginalised.
Previously, she was a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution in Mumbai and a Senior Fellow at Observer Research Foundation. The lecture will be based on research that Dr. Sen conducted on religion and identity, partially in Istanbul, with Professor W. Wagner, Johannes Kepler University, Austria, and University fo the Basque Country, San Sebastion, Spain, and Dr. R. Permandelli, University of Djakarta, Indonesia.
